The Influence of Higher Education on China’s Macro-Economy

Education contributes to economic growth. China’s economy has shifted from high growth higher-quality development, creating a new demand reform and develop higher education. This paper first measures the composite index of education in China 2009 2019 by combining Cobb-Douglas production function Denison’s factors analysis method. Results showed that an increasing contribution rate but is still lagging behind developed countries.
